The Nazis wanted the Jews out of Europe. Three basic reasons.
I) they were not Christians and Hitler was a good Christian.
2) they were not Germans and Hitler wanted a Germany for the Germans (master race and all that stuff)
3) The idea of deportation and the creation of a Jewish homeland fell through. (Hitler and the Nazis pressured England and other countries to create a place for a Jewish State. Those negotiations fell apart at the start of the second world war. Then the need for ships to transport them became an impossible requirement to match. The process of gathering them up and sending them somewhere was already in place and proceeding. Hitler was shipping them East to Poland and the Sudeten Lands, but there really was no place to put them. So they were "resettled" in the death camps. It was not the first option, it was the final solution.

I would suggest that you find a copy of "Eichman in Israel" by Hanna Arendt. It is an excellent read.

For some reason, noone knows really for sure, Hitler decided that the Jews were a scorge to the nation of Germany. Hitler set out to create a superhuman race. According to him Jews were filthy and not worthy of anything. He had all Jews register as such and then had them arrested and sent to concentration camps. In these camps a lot of the Jews were slaughtered and killed. By the time Hitler was discovered (he took the cowards way out and committed suicide), 6 milllion Jews had been killed.
I would suggest that you read" The Diary of Anne Frank'' for a first hand account of what the holocaust was all about.

The Holocaust didn't happen. The Holocaust was the movement to remove all Jews from Europe--which obviously didn't happen.

After the first world war, wealthy Jews entered Germany, for it was a great investment: land was nearly worthless. People had no jobs. People burned their money just to stay warm. The foreign investment roused much sentiment against foreigners--particularly, Jews. Adolf Hitler rose to power and demanded the Jews to leave Germany. When they refused, they were imprisoned.

Were 6 million of them killed? That's very debatable. Many Jews who were forced into the concentration camps describe horrors and genocide, yet, the World Almanac showed an increase in the Jewish population throughout Europe.

We may never have the real answers. Just remember that there are indeed two sides to every story.

on the grounds that may not real. Poland's inhabitants in 1939 substitute into 36 million, of which 3.one million million have been Jews. the optimal obtainable quantity of Jews killed then could be 3.one million million. certainty is obviously not each Polish Jew died. They many times record it as "6 million Jews have been killed" as a substitute of "6 million Polish have been killed". in certainty brith records from the time point out the Jews have been the only ethnicity in Europe in particularly develop in inhabitants for the period of the conflict with record numbers of births. No, i'm not a Nazi sympathiser, in basic terms a individual who reads history and likes the certainty no count no count if that certainty is nicely-known or not. EDIT: I see a brilliant style of misinterpretations of issues in those solutions you're getting. I even have been to Auschwitz. it somewhat is a concentration camp. meaning a brilliant style of human beings have been saved in a small area. It does not propose gasoline chamber. I additionally take difficulty with the thought debate over the history of the Jews in WWII is taken as bigotry in direction of Jews. some international places will positioned historians in detention center for reporting data that bypass against the "expert" tale. particularly everyone could attempt to study greater and picture independantly of the media.

Adolf Hitler, who came to power in Germany during the 1930's was obsessed with the idea of a "Arean Race". He pictured a race of superior being all with blond hair and blue eyes. Where the Jews fit in: After Germany's downfall from World War one, The economy was in ruins. During the 30's Hitler needed to scapegoat someone in the German Population, and he chose Jews. After he gained enough power, he began passing legislation restricting their rights. After he became dictator, he would round the up, and send the to concentration camps to be horrifically executed by the millions. Also many non jews wer killed too.

holocaust- the name given to the period of persecution and extermination of European jews by Nazi Germany. The reason I think that they killed them is because they needed some one to blame, to have a reason to have the fighting. If you are going to have a fight don't you need to have a reason? Plus mabey long time hate of the people by Hitler. There might be many resons but no one exactly knows why.

This is a bad place for someone serious in learning about the holocaust. If you are serious I would suggest visiting your local library and asking the librarian where to start. If you are really serious call up a local Rabbi and ask him for some literature. It is only a start.

Hitlers solution to the cleansing of Germany. The German people were in dire economic circumstances after WWI, the German(non Jewish) people used the German Jewish people to scapegoat their feelings of hopelessness. Hitler caught on to this, and used antisemitism as a political front. This gave him power and popularity. His main goal was to conquer the world in the name of the "pure" Aryn race. (Blondie blue eyed Germans). He built ghettos(in the original sense not the one in US pop culture) then concentration camps, sent Jewish people there to be rounded up and killed. The first to be killed by Hitler were handicapped people( of all races and Creeds), then Jews, Gypsies, some Catholics, and so on. I was surprised to learn Hilter was a quarter Jewish himself. It seems the Jewish people caught the brunt of the Nazi's wrath, about 6 million were killed. Terrible!

Scapegoats. Jews have been persecuted throughout history. They were blamed for the Plague and were burned in the Inquisition. And as many non-Jews were killed, also.

Hitler the grand Nazi wrote Mein Kampf and made assertions that there was a superior race and if it didn't exist he was going to creatre it by killing off those whom he considered inferior like the Jews. By the way he was a satanist. The big agenda of the devil is to get rid of God's chosen. http://peace.heebz.com/holocaust.html
