In gym, we were just walking around and, I've never really noticed it but, my friend said I walk weird and I was wondering what she was talking about and she said I walk toe-heel instead of heel-toe. everyone walks heel-toe but for some reason I walk toe-heel and I never felt anything wrong with it. I've tried to get out of my habit but I just can't. Some people even say my heel doesn't even barely touch the ground... Is there something wrong with me?

Nope, nothing wrong with that, it's probably better for your back anyways.

Can you walk? Are you in pain? Does this cause you any sort of trouble at all? If not, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Some people just walk more on their toes, especially shorter people, because they grew up being on their toes most of the time, reaching for things. Also, if you did any sort of cheering or gymnastics type sports when you were younger, even ballet, this also teaches you to walk toe-heel. So, actually you probably have better posture than someone who walks heel-toe. But, unless this causes you pain of some sort, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You're just an original, and an original is always better than a copy. :)

When you run, is it heel-toe, or toe running? This could just be your habit, and if it doesn't hurt your body (hips, back, neck), I wouldn't worry. I walked on my toes for years growing up, because I had psoriasis on my heels and it was too painful to walk on them. Now I walk like everyone else, no problem. The time I would be concerned is if your calf muscle is so tight that you can't walk heel-toe. That might need some physio, but that doesn't sound like you. Have you spent much time in high heels? Those are harder to walk in your way, so it might help you break the habit, if you feel the need.

Hmm, I wouldn't think so. Have you ever danced? Because dancers are sometimes forced to walk like that because it looks nicer (toe-heel rather than heel-toe) because it doesn't look like you have flexed feet (which is a big no-no in dance haha). So if you had ever danced, maybe you have just gotten used to it. If you have been doing it your whole life, I doubt anything is wrong. But if you are really worried about it, I'd call a pediatrist. Even if it's nothing, it may help you feel more reassured about it if it comes from a professional.

No not at all...if you notice babys walk toe heel when they start walking around and most people grow out of it and some don't your ok you just never grew out of it...don't worry though you can if you set your mind to it and once you walk heel toe just tryto make it feel natural.
