Does the Bible support the teaching of Reincarnation? No.
What hope for the dead does the inspired Word of God offer?
The only person/s I believe are God himself, and those who tell the truth about God & what he says. The following articles act like guides to the Scriptures, and answer your questions, both the direct & implied ...

If you read the Bible, you will not find any support in it for reincarnation. Rather it teaches in Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men ONCE to die, but after this the judgment".
The Bible teaches that people live only once, and that after their death they are judged for either heaven or hell. When a person is sent to hell, that is referred to in the Bible as the "second death". They have already died in their bodies, now they also receive the death of the soul.
The Bible also speaks of being "born again". Jesus talked about it in John chapter 3. But it refers to the need for a person who has already been born in the flesh to be reborn within their spirit. There is nothing in the chapter that makes any reference to a person being reborn into a second physical life.
Whether reincarnation is true or false, you are welcome to debate. But the Bible does not teach or support reincarnation in any way. Rather it teaches against it.

Yes, there is reason to discount reincarnation. Christ and His apostles taught that when we die, our spirit goes to a heaven and there we await resurrection and judgment. Nowhere does it say we bounce back in another form for another shot at life.
The "second death" as mentioned in scriptures means a spiritual death - separating yourself from righteousness and not being able to return to God. The first death is, of course, physical death.

The Bible is unclear at best on the topic. Jesus says that John the Baptist was Elijah reincarnated. But He ALSO said that it is 'given' man once to die, and then the resurrection. How is death a gift? Unless maybe it's an order thing: Die, be judged, then resurrect into a new body... over and over until you make your final decision about Jesus.
That last part is just my guess.

We are all alive and conscious right before the end of the world. That is reason enough for me to believe in reincarnation.

Well maybe science has something to say about that. The Bible mostly talks about other stuff. Like when King
Saul contacted the dead. Well, hey, he contacted the dead, but he didn't contact the reincarnated, okay?

Yes because the Bible only allows for a person to die once.
Hebrews 9:27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,

The Bible is very clear that once we are dead we face the judgment. We get one shot at this. There is no coming back for a do-over.

is there any reason to doubt that dead is dead ? That there IS NOTHING else ..... nadda, nothing...final cut. Mortals have the need to want to believe that there has to be more....becasue the continual thought day in and day out of a limited existence just racks the back of their brains....day in and out.....it grates on people.....and it should. You get one go around and then the ride is over.....and over forever.
p.s. NICE boots....and the legs in them aren't too shabby either ! ;^)
