The only real secret to loosing weight is what the first poster already said: You MUST burn more calories than you take in. Here are some ideas to help you along the way:
1. Drink only water or milk Juice has too much sugar and soda dehydrates you.
2. Walk, run, or do something active (work up a good sweat) for 45 minutes (at least 4 days per week) after you arise in the morning and BEFORE you eat breakfast. This will burn fat you have stored.
3. Obviously, stay away from chips, fast food, or anything fried.
4. Muscle burns fat, so lifting weights would help.
5. Eat yogurt 3 times per day......the live bacteria helps burn fat.
6. And something most people can't conform to is this: Drink a hot beverage with your meal, like hot tea or coffee. It aids digestion and moves food on down the line. It keeps the fat from settling in as quickly.

well burning fat to quickly can be dangerous, but i would reccomend doing crunches, eating healthier, and exercising more. i would also reccomend watching what you eat, how much fat there is, and how many calories. ask yourself these questions next time you go to mcdonalds or something. how much fat and calories are in this? are there to many? if so, can i burn it all off later, including the other stuff i have eaten or will eat today? if you say you will burn it off, make sure you do!

Eat meat with high protein such as Fish. The more muscle mass you gain the more fat you burn. Eat less calories.
Remember to have a happy sense of excercise. You must believe you are achieving your goal. Mentality also does the trick; it will help you keep going.

well since fat is the bodies energy reserves, you need to burn more calories than you take in for the day. The only way to do this is to move.. Aerobics seem to be the best method. But whatever physical activity you love, go for it.. I personally love to swim.. (I try to walk and take stairs whenever I can also)

take your weight ..and add a zero to it ..then add your weight to that ...say you weigh 150 ...then add a zero to the end ..1500 then 150 ..you get 1650 ..that is how many calories you need to just maintain your weight...while not doing anything ...to reduce your weight you need to consume less then that figure..and exersice ( gasp ...I know that can be a sware word ) and don't try to loose more then 1-2 pounds a week or you will be loosing equal amounts of muscle and fat ...you didn't get fat over night and you cant get thin over night either :)

go on the rice diet you can find more about it by searching rice diet. people have been known to lose 1 pound a day on it.
