My grandmother died years ago at the age of 96. She always said that "love falls where it lands!" She told me this in the 1960's when speaking of an interracial couple. She supported them then and I support them now and always. My father-in-law says that race doesn't matter as long as you are winning...If you have found love, then you are winning!
Congratulations!

No, it's not wrong. Times has changed and love is color blind you never expect to fall in love and an interracial couple faces the same challenges as any couple. Commitment, and building any relationship especially when it comes down to marriages takes work regardless of the race.

It is certainly not wrong for two races to unite in marriage or love. Love has no certain qualities that it must obey. Answer this question is it wrong for a short person to marry a tall person? Obviosly not! Therefore two races should never be an issue either. And for those of you who think it is wrong...you need to change with the times! Love has no boundaries!

No. Love has no boundaries...to a certain degree, but interracial marriage is not wrong. It may be frowned upon, because many of us were taught it is wrong, but in all honesty, the color of skin should be the least of people's worries in a relationship.

Are you crazy? Not since the 1950's and even then it wasnt wrong just some people are idiots! My fiance is african american and I am white and we are very happy together. The color of your skin does not determine the success rate of your marriage. It may not be easy especially if your friends or family are living in the past but if you love someone nothing should stop especially the color of yours or their skin.

Honey, we are all one race of people, descended from Adam and Eve. Jr. High science on genetics explains how all races could have descended from two people who have a particular makeup of dominent and recessive genes in each area.
It just so happens that my forefathers carried more dominant genes for fair skin and someone else's carries the genes for darker skin.
There are cases of two black people having a white baby and vice versa. That's because of the fact that we all carry a variety of genetic material..... whether we want to admit it or not!
Best Wishes,
Sue

Wow, I thought we were all beyond this by now - ofcourse it is not wrong. As long as "love" consists to two people who are of consenting age, are consenting, and in a positive frame of mind, there are few "wrong" answeres to love.
