Girl you are 16 years old. You have so much time ahead of you to settle down and be serious about someone. This boy sounds much more mature than you do. He is working towards a goal. Leave him alone and stop making his life harder worrying about what you think. Either support him in his endeavors or bail out and find someone else. Males know that sooner or later they will be the chief bread winner for a family and he is showing that he can do it. Don't tell me that you can't help how you feel that is nonsense. Of course you can if you don't focus entirely on me me me. Either be a part of his plan or get out. You have a male who is not like "most" 16 year olds. He is trying his utmost to make it in this world and the last thing he needs is an anchor around his neck crying from her soft warm little bed how she misses him. Treasure the time you do have with him and tell him that you appreciate his efforts.

It's not that he would rather do that. It's just that guys have a life outside of you (just accept it) and we do too. let him have his fun with his guy friends and when it's time to be with you, he'll be with you. besides, talking on the phone is not nearly as much fun as football! so if you really want the best of both worlds, go outside one of these days and throw a football with him!

It depends on how long you have been with him...if its not been that long just be like "ok" call me later, because when you seem desprite guys take it as "NEEDY" or too attached.....but if you have been with him for a while or more you should alredy know your man wants to be with you but needs space. Guys need to go play in the sandbox every once in a while because with how smart women are they can only understand us to a certian point then need some time to regain thier own smarts and analyze what we are saying, other wise they just sit there and say "uh huh" "yea" and don't know what the **** we are talkin about

what makes two people interesting to each other is that they are individuals with different lives. what could be more boring than being each other's sole form of entertainment.
get a life, do some fun things on your own.
then when you get together you can share your different experiences.
and, hey, if you don't want to go out and throw a football with him, you can go watch. guys love to show off their girls.

Guys do need their space & its not good to interupt especially their football game even tv etc etc etc
If you get to clingy you will loose him
if you can let him have space & not get cranky with him & you do some fun things yourself when not together you will be much happier& so will he
he will be more loving towards you
He will feel like you are his mum telling him what he can & can't do
you try doing what I said & see what happens if its not to late
good luck

It is called space. No matter how much a person cares, they need free time too, and the comradeship of other males. A trivial conversation can take place at anytime. You can not expect to possess a person totally. It is both unfair and unrealistic to think so....give him space and your relationship will be the stronger for it.

Nothin, it's football! Now if he won't have sex with you after watching a good game that could be a concern. That may even be Dr. Phill worthy.

If you don't like that you need to let him know. If he does not care about you then it's better to get that understanding out of the way now. You should not have any trouble finding a new friend.
