He says he hasn't fallen for her, but he is fighting and resisting.

The reason he can't date her is because of his church and their policy on dating and marriage.

Ok, I'll add more details. The church is a very strict church where they don't even allow dating. They only marry, and when they marry they can't marry someone who is not converted in their church. The woman was asking the guy why can't he just give her a chance, and to heck with the church. The guy says that the devil is using her to distract him from doing God's work, but the devil was losing by him not falling for her...that he was fighting and resisting. He says that it has nothing to do with who she is as a person, or because she's not attractive. It's just out of the question for him to step outside of the Scriptures to return her love.

It's not a church if they have a policy for dating and marriage, because that what God wants Man and women to marry and have a family.Must be a sorry church with a bunch of hypocrites, can't wait for the preacher to stop to get outside and smoke and talk about others.

She should visit his church and find out what they teach and believe. He may be very honest and does like her, but she needs to get on the same page with his religous beliefs.

My daughter did not believe in "dating" as we do in this country. She eventually met a Christian man who felt the same way. He was 29 and she was 21 when they married.... both virgins on their wedding night.

In our society, people think if you aren't jumping in bed with someone there is soemthing wrong with you. God has other ideas.

God Bless,

Sue

It's BS. If he wanted her in his life he would find a way to put her there. He is using God as an excuse...then it again it could be very well he can't. I would be cautious of him.
