Yes, it's way stronger than morphine and much, much stronger than percocet because percocet is tylenol with a bit of an opioid (morphine-like) drug in it. Hydromorphone is an opioid. I would say it is more addictive because there is more opioid in it than percocet and because it is a stronger opioid, and that is what makes you feel high, as well as relieving pain. If you are worried about becoming addicted, relax, less than 1% of people get addicted to painkillers. You might experience some dependence, where your body feels funny if you stop suddenly, in which case the doc would wean you off the drug. That isn't addiction. Addiction is when you crave the drug and need it psychologically to function. Whew, long answer.

Hydormorophone is morphine, Perocet is oxycodone with acetaminophen. I depends on the dosage, how long you've been taking it and how many times a day you take it. Both are opioids and are addicting. Both are used for moderate to severe pain. Hope this helps.

hydromorphone is morphine slow release and it depends on how many Mgs it has in each pill. Percocet is a mixture of a couple of drugs like tylenol and a synthetic opioid and also depends on how many mgs per dose/pill. You can become dependand on any pain pill if you do not follow the prescribed dosage. Often people in pain will take more of the medicine because they becom used to it and it dosnt work as well. Be sure to talk to your dr about how you are feeling it. be careful with all meds. good luck

MY experience is that pain killers only make you not care you're in pain, or the mask it so you end up doing more damage by not paying attention to the pain...or they help you sleep which is the best way to heal. I consider pain my body's way of saying "STUPID!! Don't do that!" When I was healing from my car wreck, I stopped taking the pain killers except at night. I wanted to know where the "don't do that point" was when I was awake.

Yes, it is stronger than percocet. I believe it is morphine, while percocent is codeine. As for addictive, I believe both are about the same as far as addictive possibilities.
