I must have missed it, I never knew anything about a rapture suppose to happen then, this is the first I have heard of it. i do know the rapture can not be far away, because Israel became a nation again in 1948, and the Bible tells that that generation shall not pass away till all things are fulfilled, and the very youngest of that generaiton, would be 58 now, so it could be any day now.

False prophets will come and go. From the TV Evangelsits that made crazy off the wall predictions in the name of the Lord only for these predictions to turn into lies and people still drink their kool-aide by sending them money.
Be more concerned about the hurts and pains of those in your own community. Be proactive instead of reactive. By this I mean volunteer in your own community to help others help those that need help the most. Jesus taught in the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke chapter 10 our neighbor is the stranger laying injured on life's pathway that others pass over and never take time to help. The Good Samaritan looked at this injured stranger as being his responsibily for he told the inn keeper if there was any extra costs for his stay to charge it to his own account.
So stop worrying about when Jesus will appear and be more concerned about doing his will until he appears.
