There is a reason doctors don't like headache patients, their headaches. Headaches can be so difficult to diagnose, everyone has given you a great answer, are you on medication that you take for these headaches on a regular basis?
If so, you take them during the day when you get the headaches,
then when you wake up, they're there to smack you in the head.
It could be that a lot of your headaches are rebound headaches from medication if you are on meds. If you are on meds, call your pharmacist and ask him about the meds and if they can produce rebound headaches.

This may seem like a strange question, but how long is your hair? When I was yoounger I had headaches all the time, and all tests my doctor ran came back normal. Finally he told me to get my hair cut. At the time it was down to my waist. He said the weight of the hair could be causing the headaches. I did cut my hair, and the headaches stopped. Whether they stopped because I got rid of the weight, or just believing that was what the problem was, I'll never be sure. But, like I said, it did work for me.

Honestly, without some sort of medical history, your problem could be anything from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm that's bleeding slowly to a kidney infection to the flu to a migraine with a back strain. We have NO WAY TO KNOW. Go to your local emergency room or urgent care clinic and seek medical attention as soon as physically possible (which would likely be now).

In my opinion, it is a sign of stress and you need to analyze your life situation.Unfortunately, you only give me a little to go on so I will do my best to analyze your headache.
You need to see your status in society such as work or school that you involve.
People around you make you feel uneasy and you may not know they are the causes of your headache.
Your love life, single, divorce or unhappy marriage as well as stuck in a bad relationship.
Sit down and ask yourself what is going on with you? what about your health and well being? Are you healthy or not healthy? Is it a time for you to exercises or sit there on your comfy cough and being depress about everything. Well I forgot about Money situation such as you are in debt or borrow up to your ears. Now it is about time to do some work and take a fully control of your health, wealth and happiness. Good luck my friend and let me know you are on the right track.

What you describe would not show up on any of the tests you have taken... it is an inflammatory process involving the cranial nerves..To verify this, just press under the base of the skull and see if it does not aggravate the pain you are now experiencing.

Now go and see a doctor of Chiropractic and get some relief.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Is it stress? Is there something going on in your life that is bugging you?
Could it be allergies? Cats, dog, dust, pollen, or food allergies? You are
going to have to be a detective and figure it out. Eliminate one thing after
an other until the headaches stop. it is the only way. good luck.

This is Migrain. There is no medicine for migrain, rheumatism, hypertension, diabetes, tinnitus, commoncold and many such diseases. But doctors don't tell this fact to their patients as a part of business.
Acupuncture is the only treatment and you should approach a skilled acupuncturist. Even if he is a quack, ask him to mail me.
