GRILLED CRAB LEGS WITH PROVENCAL
BUTTER

1/4 (1/2 stick) c. butter
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Alaska King crab legs; thawed if necessary
Thickly sliced zucchini, red, bell pepper and eggplant

Melt butter with olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat, then stir in garlic, thyme and rosemary. Remove from heat. Place crab legs shell side down on a well oiled, clean grill over a medium hot fire. Grill about 4 minutes brushing with butter, until crab is heated through thoroughly. Place veggies on grill, brush with butter and cook, turning occasionally, until cooked through. Remaining Provencal butter may be used as dipping sauce.
4 servings.

1 lb. crabmeat (optional) if you have any
1 lb. cooked shrimp or frozen cooked pkg.
1-2 ribs celery to taste
2 tbsp. mayonnaise or to taste
1/2 tbsp. mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. celery seed (if you like)

Cut crab legs, shrimp and celery in small or medium size pieces. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper and celery seed. Add lettuce, torn in small pieces (if you like). Stir all together to mix.

CRAB LEG PIZZA

1 pkg. crab legs (16 oz. pkg.) or seafood legs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 c. olive oil
1 1/2 lbs. pizza dough

Combine oil and finely chopped garlic in small cup and microwave on high for approximately 1-2 minutes (until oil is simmering). Roll out dough and place on lightly greased pizza tray. Lightly grease top side of dough and bake at 350 degrees until outside is slightly crusty.
Pour remaining oil and garlic (don't saturate) onto slightly crusty dough. Add cheese and top with crab legs.
Return to oven for additional time until bottom of pizza is done.

Happy Cooking! :)

Fill a pot approximately ½ to 2/3 full of water depending on the number of crab legs to be cooked. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. You can also add 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning if you like. Bring water to a boil. Place uncooked crab legs into the boiling water and allow the water to return to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 15 - 20 minutes. You can store previously frozen and thawed crab legs in your refrigerator for up to two days. Cooked crab legs will remain fresh in your refrigerator for up to three days.

For previously cooked and/or frozen crab legs, bring a pot of water (filled ½ way full) to a boil with 1 tablespoon of salt and/or 2 tablespoons of seafood seasoning. Place crab legs into the boiling water, reduce the heat, and allow to simmer for 5 minutes or until warm.

You can serve crab legs with clarified butter or seafood sauce, (or both!)

You cook the whole crab, preferably while it is still alive. Then you clean it and seperate the legs. Otherwise they have the idea.
