I think you should have at least 2 at least 2-5 years apart I think 3 is about perfect spacing. that way they have someone to play with and grow up with. I think over 4 is getting to be a lot but if you have the money and the patience then have as many as you want.

That's a question that everyone will have a different answer to. It is really up to you and your situation at the time. My great-grandma had 10 kids and a few miscarriages. My grandma had 2 kids, and my mom had 3. My other grandma had 4. My boyfriend's parents have 4, and his sister has one, but wants another (a little boy, because she already has a girl). We have 1 so far.
For me, I have always felt that I needed to have an even number, whether it be 2 or 4 or 6. (Heaven forbid I have any more than that! I would love them all, but lord, it would be crazy around here!)
My mom had me, and I was supposed to be an only child. When I was about 6 all the sudden one day my mom wanted another baby, and when I was 8, my sister was born. Not quite two years later, my brother was born since my parents decided to try just one more time in hopes of having a boy.
I have a little boy, and I hope that the next one is a girl. That way, even if I don't have any more kids after that, I will have one of each.

Whatever suits you, some people are happy with a small family, others like large families.I am one of 9 and I loved having loads of siblings.I have 3 girls and a boy aswell as 3 stepchildren and I love having a large family, but other people couldnt cope with a large family.

well my mom had 8 children with my dad (6 boys and 2 girls) one died (oldest son) so that leaves 7 then once she got divorced she married someone with 5 sons that now makes 10 boys! and only two girls.. i think 1 or 2 is a good amount not 12

It all depends on how many you want. Ten may be a good number for some. As far as I am concerned, zero is my magic number, but that is a personal preference.

Two. One to replace each parent and no more. Why? Because we're running out of space on this planet. It's sad but true. Kids are wonderful.
