$175 and a couple of points knocked off of your license (assuming this is a first offense).

Jail is the place or clowns like you! It's surprising so many people answering have no regard for the consequences of doing 68 mph in an 35 mph posted area.

I don't know exactly what state you live. In some states you do not go to jail for doing 70 in a 35. You get a reckless driving ticket and a speeding ticket. But lets say you did go to jail well it will be about 120.00 to get you out and then you have to go to court. well with all the court cost are looking at about 50.00 just in court costs. Well know for speeding ticket you would have have to pay about 140.00. So your total would be about 310.00 if you get getting in trouble for the same thing you can loose your driving privelages. well hope this helps you

Yes, 138 in a 70... They showed mercy and the court reduced the ticket speed to 95...Maybe you can fight the ticket on the basis that you were speeding but not at 68...Half the time the officer does not show up to dispute. I'm not sure as to the $$..It differs by geography

If he clocked you going sixty 8 in a 25 you're in enormous hassle. i recognize that throughout the time of a few places the cost decrease variations sharply yet you ultimate word those variations and in case you dont see signs and indicators you could desire to sluggish as you flow via cities or close to faculties besides. I wish i could desire to help you extra useful, my advice is, in case you're in a financial constraint and can't arise with the money once you're meant to, permit the court docket recognize (maybe convey a paycheck stub) and grant to pay in increments, or see if there are some community service classes obtainable to assist attempt and shrink the fines and ask for forgiveness clearly for what occurred. All in all, prioritize your fines. which ones are due soonest? which fines are maximum extreme? of course theyre all exceedingly obligatory.... yet thats the final i will to do help in view that Im no longer a attorney
