You don't "join up." You learn about the different paths, and think about what you really believe. Actually, do the second part first. Paganism isn't a club, it's a group of metaphysical perspectives that either make sense to you or they don't. You read about them, then think about them, and if you come across one that makes the universe seem more intelligible, you pick one.

Forgive my candor, but the fact that you asked whether you need to make animal sacrifices indicates you have a long way to go before you're ready to "join up."

A good starting place would be wikipedia's entries on paganism, neo-paganism, pantheism, and existentialism.

If you're really interested, you'll have your whole life ahead of you so don't be in a hurry! Never Stop Learning is the way to be. But the good part is that you won't get punished for not believing in it. The worst that can happen is that it won't really be you and you'll go look for something else.

That is, if you are actually serious about exploring your spirituality.

Hi. Welcome. No animals sacrifices, so don't worry. Look for any local wiccan communities. You can find them in the yellow pages sometimes, or go to your nearest wiccan (New Age) bookstore. I am sure they will have community information. Being a pagan is much less formal than being in a church. It is more of an organic community. So look for where the pagans/wiccans hang out in your area and start to learn by reading.

well start in your local library. (the history section)
and read everything that you can about ancient people that lived in harmony with the earth.
(Native Americans, Celts, Early europeans, African tribes etc.)

get an understanding for their way of life. after that find yourself a new age or metaphysical shop. and ask the people there for some reccomendations for some good books about ancient spirituality. make sure to ask about Historic books.

now you will understand their way of life and their beliefs.
and you will probally see how their beliefs and their way of life influenced each other. now that you understand where the religion of your shoice came from. it is time to start learning it.

if you are going for Wicca (a branch of paganism) i would reccoment Scott Cunningham as a good author to read.

if you are going to Celtic Paganism or Druidry. Jean Merkale is good for history. but i really have not found many good books on the spiritualism. most of what is written is mixed with Wicca, and that simply is not Druidic.

try some websites like Witchvox.com and look for a coven or group in your area. many covens may not take you into their coven but they are very likely to give you some information on where to find others or what books to read.

I would recommend books. And no I don't think you have to make a sacrifice cuz that's just wrong. Let me know what you find out cuz I am very interested to. Its the only thing I have found umong religions thats not all about being crazy and worshipping stuff.

You already have some good suggestions here. If you are interested in learning about different specific neo-pagan path, you could ask about them on here. There are plenty of people following different pagan paths on YA that you could learn about.

This site has a good forum comprised of members of different neo-pagan faiths.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/tDXhJ an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

You read books to learn more about the religion. Whatever you do, don't make the choice now. You are obviously extremely misinformed on the nature of paganism.

There's lots of pagan resources online -- let your fingers do the walking.

Animal sacrifices are not required but some nights I could cheerfully strangle my cats when they won't stop licking themselves and let me go to sleep! (I am just kidding! Really!)

They don't sacrifice animals. You could look it up on
Wikipedia. Wicca describes several different belief systems: Seax, Dianic (women only), Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Frost, etc. Then there is Asratu (Norse), Kahuna (Hawaiian folk magic), Egyptian, etc.
