most bi-polars i know or have known are completely incapable of maintaining a romantic relationship.. it really takes serious love and great sacrifices to be involved with someone like that.
in the end, your friend is the only one who can decide if continuing to date this poor girl is the right thing to do for him..

If she was on her meds then thats fine, but there's proof right there that she's not if she's doing that stuff. Even if she was on her med's and she's just a b**** then obviously there's another reason that this won't work out and he shouldn't be with someone that's doing harm to him. Is she just really hot or something? lol Otherwise I don't get it. She's diagnosed bipolar or you just don't like her and are calling her that? Like I said... if she is and she's not taking her med's now then there's alot less chance that she's going to later. If you think about it the first part of the relationship you are trying to show the other person how great you are and you have everything together, it's like a year or more after that the real you starts coming out. If she's not even putting up an urge now to try to seem together and take her med's then I really doubt she would later on down the road, so sounds like nothing would change.

Bipolar is a condition and all fairness its like a disability. You would not punish a child because it was down sydrome so how can you blame a disorder that she was born with that isn't her fault. He has to figure out for himself if he can handle that responsiblity of being with someone who has a disorder.

hm, if she didnt know where he lived, i would say keep her. I had a chick like that once, when i wanted to show up and party i did, when she got too crazy i left, all was fine. She didnt know where i lived, and i never gave her anything i didnt want to keep. If he cant do that, then go find another, there are plenty of normal chicks out there without baggage and problems.

That my friend would depend on him. Is he in love with her or her disorder? Some people are really attracted to chaos. Some people feed of excitement. I think if she is beating him up he needs to get a restraining order.I just had a terrible bout with this this summer, with a good friend of mine, (she is bi-polar). We are no longer friends. It does get bad. Very Very bad.

YES!! If she beats him up then yeah. Bipolarism is a problem that need to be handled. If she can't do it, then she shouldn't take it out on him. Tell him to leave her a**.

it takes a special person to be with someone who has that type of mental disorder. if he wants to deal with all the b.s. that goes on with a person that has bi-polar then he has a hard road ahead of himself. statistics show that people with the bi-polar disorder have a hard time making relationships last. medication is supposed to make them better... like i said- supposed to...
good luck to him- hope he has lots of patience if he stays in it.
NOW- if it was me and I was a dude- hell yes- i would 86 her to the curb..
