Yield: 4 dessert servings
4 flour tortillas, 7" size
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar (or to taste)
Cut tortillas into bite-size triangles. Stir together melted butter, cinnamon and sugar, until blended. Brush or toss tortillas with cinnamon/butter/sugar mixture. Place tortillas on baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 350 degrees F until lightly browned and crisp.

CINNAMON TORTILLAS W/STRAWBERRY SALSA
4 flour tortillas
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
SALSA:
2 cups strawberries, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoon liquid honey
Salsa:
Combine strawberries, mint, lime rind and juice and honey; cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Brush both sides of each tortilla with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over each side of tortilla. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet in 375F oven for about 10 minutes or until crisp and golden. Cut into quarters. Serve with salsa.
HERE'S A FUN AND DIFFERENT RECIPE FOR YOU...
CHOCOLATE-CINNAMON DESSERT NACHOS
Yield: 6 Servings
2 TBS Sugar; granulated - and
1/2 cup Sugar; granulated (separate use)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
5 TBS Butter
6 Tortillas; Flour - 8"
1 cup Cream; heavy or whipping
1/3 c Sugar; brown - packed
1 t Vanilla
1 oz unsweetened Chocolate; coarsely chopped
1/2 c Pecans - coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, mix together 2 Tbsp granulated
sugar and cinnamon.
Melt 4 Tbsp butter. Brush melted butter on both
sides of tortillas.
Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar on 1 side.
Stack tortillas on top of one another, sugared
sides up, and cut the stack into 10 to 12
wedges.
Place tortilla wedges, sugared sides up,
in a single layer on buttered baking sheets.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or till tortilla
wedges are crisp and golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine cream,
remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and brown
sugar.
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring
often. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, t
ill slightly thickened.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Transfer half of mixture to a bowl. Add
chocolate and stir till melted.
To remaining mixture, stir in remaining
one Tbsp butter. Let both sauces cool to
lukewarm.
To assemble nachos, scatter tortilla pieces
in single layer over a large serving platter.
Drizzle some chocolate sauce and caramel
sauce over tortilla and sprinkle about 3
TBS nuts on top.
Repeat layer until all ingredients are
used.
Serve immediately.

Cinnamon-Sugar Tortilla
Ingredients:
1 tsp. butter
2 tsp. cinnamon and sugar blend
1 flour tortilla
Preparation:
Melt butter in a saute pan on medium-high heat. Place tortilla in pan and heat for approximately one minute and turn. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar blend, heat for another minute, fold and serve.

Take a Flour Tortilla, fry it in some oil in a pan until crispy and then put sugar on it first, then cinnamon...

cut the torts into triangles
fill a bag with sugar and a few sprinkles of cinnamon til a sandy color
heat oil in a frying pan
place torts in the oil and they will rise when done.
toss in bag and shake till coated-yum

instead of trying it with tortilla, you should try it with pie pastry crust or philly dough
all you do is lightly butter it, sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on it and bake!
my sister made this and it was so good!
i recommend it!
