I sweat excessively in social situations to the point where I have to exuse myself from conversations or group activities/discussions. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to reduce or fix this problem?

My fiance has social anxiety and I know how hard it feels sometimes. Aware of everything bad that you are doing that nothing good can come out of some social event. But it is curable so it's worth fighting! :)

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

HERE IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS!

I myself have Social Anxiety. Doctor has tried many different meds. to help me. Currently taking Diazepam ( Valium ) and Effexor. But it does NOTHING for the excessive sweating. But I found a product that is cheap. Lasts 7 - 10 days and it actually COMPLETELY stops all the embarrassing sweating. And best of all it's actually pretty cheap. It's called Sweat Block. Below is a link to there website and they also sell it on eBay. I guarantee you it will change your life as it has mine! Give it a shot.......

Your problem could be psychosomatic, and it's actually more common then one would think. I think a solution to your problem would to combine psychotherapy with a good antiperspirant that's been researched and safe...

There's a lot of info on this website, and I recommend the product as well (being that I use it, I suffer from excessive sweating too).
