If you blowdry it dont just blowdry it, put a serum or moose on it first to protect the hair from the heat. It helps minimize damage.
Use a hot oil treatment once a week to keep oils in it to look healthy.
And after shampooin and conditionin rinse with cool water to make hair shinyer.

I use the fructis shining serum. Frizz-Ease by John Frieda is good too. I also use a smoothing shampoo (currently Head & shoulders Smooth & Silky). Conditioner really helps as well. If you wash your hair with warm water (not too hot because it will dry it out) and then do the final rinse with cold water it will help to smooth your hair and make it shinier. I do hot oil deep conditioning treatments every once in a while too. If you are going to blow dry, then you should set it on a lower setting and aim downwards & finish with cold air all over before you put the dryer away. I have also heard that you can use beer to rinse your hair and it will make it really soft and shiny (I think you need to leave it in and don't rinse again with water) although I haven't tried this yet. Hope this helps!

Drink lots of water to flush out any toxins in your body and to cleanse and open the pores of your face. This reduces grease and oil which leads to acne. To keep hair healthy, don't straighten it too much or even blow dry it to an extent for that matter. The word natural comes to mind - don't overwork the hair. Switch shampoos often, remember to rinse well so the hair isn't clumpy or anything. Use conditioner, especially after swimming in the pool because the chlorine is harmful sometimes. I'd say just let it flow down and free more often instead of winding it up into braids or ponytails. Brush often, get rid of knots and dandruff, etc.

Everyone loves to have silky beautiful shiny hair but the main idea to doing so is to care for your hair! Here are some tips that work for me and keep my hair looking ultra gorgeous! Tips: ~ Wash your hair EVERYDAY! When shampooing really scrub your scalp and make your hair really thick with soap! You can buy shampoo thats right for your hair type! Then rinse your hair off and put conditioner at the ends of your hair and a little bit at the top of your head! Don't overdo the conditioner because it will make your hair look greasy if you overdo it! You can also buy conditioner that is best for your hair type! ~ Dry off your hair with a towel then blow-dry! It will bring out the inner colour in your hair and will make your hair look shiny and gorgeous! If you need to and if your hair is way to wavy you may starighten your hair but I wouldn;t reccomend doing that because then the volume of your hair is basically gone! The volume adds some fun to your hair! Why lose it? After you are done blow drying, run a comb through your hair to let the oils that make your hair shine out! It will leave your hair looking shiny, smooth and healthy! ~ Brush your hair EVERYDAY! Night and Morning and even afternoon! It will make your hair look healthy and not knotted and tangled. ~ After excersice wash your body and hair to keep you looking ultra fresh and clean! ~ For busy days or rush days do a neat ponytail or bun with a headband ( that matches!) to keep your hair out of the way! Treat your hair with care and you will get that back!

The things that can make your hair dry or dull or unhealthy are excessive blowdrying, ironing, cheap shampoo, washing it too often and dry weather. So:
1. Try not to blowdry as often. Let your hair air dry some days. Like on a Saturday when you have a few hours, let it dry without any help. If it doesn't look as good air dried, just pull it up for the day.

2. If you iron your hair, get a high quality flat iron and try not to use it too much. Straighten your hair one day and just pull it up the following day.

3. Buy some good shampoo. This is my favorite:

You can get it on Ebay, Drugstore.com or at any salon or mall hair store.

4. Don't wash your hair everyday. I can go a few days. When it gets oily on the third day, I pull it up in a cute bun or something.

5. Use conditioner, especially in the winter. Get a leave-in conditioner and use it after your shower in addition to your regular one.

Ceramic tools (brushes, curling or straightening irons), keep your hair trimmed regularly (every 4 to 6 weeks), and the products. You do notice a difference between cheap and not so cheap products. Try Biolage Color Treated shampoo (has extra stuff to protect and moisturize your hair even if it isn't colored) and All Soft condtioner by Redken. Depending on how you style it there are different products for different hair types. Try shopping at a place that has salon products. They may cost a little more but it's worth it. Good luck!

Good question. I am almost 50 and look mid 30. No kidding. My hair is wavy but baby fine. I don't use styling products on my hair, unless it is a special occasion. I touch it up with a curling iron on low after it is dry naturally. I use a comb, not a brush, with wide teeth. I don't have split ends, because I don't damage my hair. I eat a lot of veggies and fruit and balance my protien. I take my vitamins and drink milk. I don't wear a lot of make up and Never wear foundation, it dries and clogs pores. I don't use alcohol products or those containing petroleum on my body or hair. I smile a lot and don't sit and bake in the sun or a tanning bed. I never get tired of people telling me how young I look and how great my hair is. I do color my hair now that I am greying, but will stop that in a short period of time, because I don't want to be one of the old ladies who looks like she colors her hair, ya know? Those are my tips, for what they are worth. Oh yeah, drink water...lots of water. Good luck. Nana

Shampoo and condition three times a week (any more will dry out your hair because of it's curly texture). Because curly hair tends to frizz, get a defrizz cream or serum at your local drugstore and use on damp and dry hair. When I get out of the shower I put mousse and defrizz serum (I have curly hair too) in my hair and go to sleep and when I wake up I have controlled, pretty curls.

for hair:
vinnigar(spelling?) makes it shiny.
lemon juice makes it shiny and makes the color come out really nicely.
cold water. just rinse your hair with freezing cold water after you take a shower.
whatever you do DO NOT use the vinnigar and lemon juice at the same time. that can damage your hair bc its 2 different acids you are putting in. they will have a chemical reaction which will dry your hair out and give you spilt ends and make your hair brittle.

for skin:
i just use the dove natural glow soaps and lotions. they work good.

good luck! =]
