You have to be willing to forgive anyone that has hurt you, you can't be judgmental, that is Jesus job, not ours. You can hate the sin, not the sinner. We all sin. You have to believe, first and foremost. If you believe, then Jesus will lead you the rest of the way. Good Luck!!!!

Believing in God or Jesus doesn't get you anywhere. Even the demons believe, and tremble. To become a true Christian you must repent of your sins and follow Christ. When this happens you'll start to display the fruits of the Spirit, you know... Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfullness, gentleness, and self-control. These are the qualities true Christians will have.

You have a good point. Just believing is not enough. The words believe and faith mean the same thing. we need to couple faith with actions. James 2:26 "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."

James 2:19 "You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe and shudder."

Our faith should show in all that we do. We should glorify God with our thoughts words and deeds.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;against such things there is no law, Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another." Galatians 6:22-26

The book of James is full of practical application for Christians. As does the whole council of God.

All believers should be studying the bible consistently - "All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

You must not be judgemental unless you are without sin.

You must love your neighbor like you love yourself and your enemy the most.

You must put God above your mother, father, son and daughter, but you must also honor your father and mother.

To keep from fornication you should marry and cling to them and become one with them and be friutful and multipy and not forsake them except for adultery (and that is just an option) or natural death

YOu should have a sword and be skillful in it's use be remember that those who live by the sword die by the sword so when struck on the right cheek instead of getting angry offer your left cheek to them, but do not become a whipping boy.

If asked to carry packs 5 miles carry them 10. If asked for your coat also give your cloak.

Pay your taxes, fines and dues to man and government.

Forgive others their trespasses.

Don't covet.

Don't worship false Gods, prophets or Idols or anything made of materials

Don't bear false witness against anyone that brings them harm or hardship

Don't cheat on your spouse

Keep a day of rest and keep it holy

Remember Jesus when you eat and drink, especialy on or immediately before Passover

When you Master all there is to the word of God and Jesus go out into the world with nothing in your pockets, just your shoes, sword, coat and cloak and show others the truth and the light, but if shunned be respectful and move on to the next place. Ask for what you need and do more than you are asked from others.

Don't expect rewards, life in Jesus is its own reward.

Live a good life, the best you can and don't align yourself with others that might bring you the mark of the beast, for if you have that mark you will not find your name in the Book of Life.

Trust in your guardian angel(s) and see what directions, if any, they prompt you into, but don't expect to understand why or what to do, that is up to you and you will probably make mistakes until you know Jesus and God fully.

Remember that God and Jesus both said you have all the same powers they have, expect you don't have eternal life in this world, so make the best of your time as you can here.

We can do all if he just are like little chlidren and free ourselves from the shackles of this world and become one with God and Jesus.

Learn, experience, read all you can, become as fluent in the ways of all mankind as you can and fear no evil.

Watch out for Satan and those who follow his ways for they will offer you everything on a silver platter and God only offers you sweat on your brow from dawn to dusk and pain in childbirth. You shouldn't fear Satan, stand toe to toe nose to nose and see what he has to offer, learn his devilish ways and learn how to recognize him, just don't give in as the rewards are superficial and when the going gets rough Satan will be no where to be found and you will be alone. Be polite, even respectful as you turn him down and walk away with nothing more than what you came in with (except some knoweldge of Devil and his ways).

seeing how Christ died over two thousand years ago it's amazing that anyone could be foolish enough to think that they know ,knew or will know him . At best the exploitations and depictions are worth some analysis but the fork is gone and the spiritual food has spoiled ... cook your own ....!

Believing is doing! Just to believe is not enough, even the devil believes and he is fearful! When we pray, we must put wings to our prayers, by doing what we say we believe concerning Christ,
That is we must do as He does...to love God above all else, and to love our neighbour as ourselves!
