right now I am suffering from great sadness... I want something to make me feel better. I feel like an evil, awful person. I've done nothing wrong but I feel rotten...

Hi. It sounds like you have been raised in a christian environment.

Being brought up with this idea the you are a sinner and God might not even like you can be difficult. I know, I was brought up that way too.

The good news is none of this is true. The bad news is that once these self loathing behaviors are learned it can be very difficult to get them out of your head.

I said difficult, but not impossible. It took me a long time but I finally started to replace them with something more empowering.

Just remember hippychic that God must have loved you just the way that you are or She would never have created you this way.

If your good enough for God then the rest of us should be thrilled with you if we are thinking clearly. Problem is many of us were brought up with this same Idea that God is a judgmental jerk. Again the good news is this is not true, its just a lie that religion makes up about God.

You are a good person. God loves you, we love you and we want you to start loving your self. You can do it and your worth the effort.

Love and blessings Don

This feeling must be a lie if you have not done things to deserve feeling rotten. I think you must be in a mental dead end, so turn around and come out. I think your heart needs spiritual food and then you will feel better.

there has to be a reason for your feelings. you are the only one that can do anything about it. if your a real hippie chick, smoke some bud. music is the doctor. turn it up. try looking at the positive side of things. if i knew more, maybe i could help. from what i read, your drowning yourself in self pity. snap out of it. go have some fun, youve got nothing to lose. take care

Do something for someone else who has less than you. The angle tree in the mall is a good one. Really get into it and put some thought into it. Knowing that you helped someone else out might make you feel better.

Talk to someone and get everything off your chest. If you don't you'll explode and honestly, it's bad for your health (keeping everything bottled in). Also do a little bit of spluring for yourself. I recommend cute shoes or a bag, but that's just me. Good luck!

You probably feel as you do because egoic self keeps bringing up evidence of this or that is wrong... it's just what ego does.

Nothing is really wrong. In case you're wondering... ego can be silenced.

Go out, lose all sense of politeness, and be random. Do silly things, and ignore what others say. Be yourself, and smile.

I know, it's not THAT easy, but I'm too tired to give advice in detail.
