Find a nice fella around your own age. Don't know anything about this young male but he must be pretty immature to be hanging around kids your age. There are lots of fish in the sea, and lots more around your age.

Between 15 and 18 should not date a man 5 years older.

Let's say your 17 and he's 22. With that kind of age difference lots of things are going to need to be considered in your decision. How did you meet him, are you attracted to him, and since you are probably a minor what do your parents think? Does he even know your parents or does he avoid them? If he doesnt know your parents and you are a minor then that should raise a red flag immedately! It could be harmless, but anytime there is an age gap that large at your age you have to think about what his intentions are. If I were you I would wait longer because 2 months is not even close to enough time to get to know someone. Wish you the best of decisions.

I meet my husband of 5 years now when I was 16 and he was 20 he turned 21 before I turned 17. My parents didn't like the idea but once they got to know him they loved him. There is nothing wrong with a 5 year age differnce when you look at it now I am 22 and he is 27 that doesn't seem that bad. Do what you feel is right. Who knows he could be your future husband.

Dating a guy 2 to 6 years older than you is not a good idea! Studies show, these guys are more likely to pressure you for sex! Girls who date older guys are much more likely—nearly 4 times more likely—to wind up pregnant. Other studies show that about two-thirds of babies born to teenage girls nationwide are fathered by adult men ages 20 or older.

You need to run. Any man that wants to get with someone that young is sick. I am sry to hurt your feelings. Just wait a few years and see what guys are like. Take it from me. Early 20;s is still way to imature. Sex is all they think about especially if you are a virgin. Remeber one other thing. What would your parents think?

probably not the best idea at your age becuase when you're that young 5 years makes for a big difference in terms of maturity and what each person wants.

If you think you'll want to have sex with him before you turn 18 (or whatever is legal in your area), I wouldn't even tempt myself. At least check your local rape statutes---you don't want to get the guy in trouble. But if you know you're not ready for sex and he pressures you (which is likely since he's older), stick to your convictions. If he can't wait for you, then you be the more mature person and end it.

let just say how would he feel about you if he got arrested for hanging out with a minor think he wouldn't want you t use your head you know right from wrong the decision is yours cause if you'll get caught and he goes to jail he will hate you so you need to think carefully about this good luck
