I was wondering the same thing.. but, my hubby thinks that for me it looks bad! I cut the hair and then shaved the rest and even plucked here and there in the upkeep of keeping it that way.. I don't think that it looks that great.. The frustrating part is that I started to pick at the teeny tiny hairs...it feels good(and I suffer from Trichotilliamania..or Hair pulling! Ugh!! Sooo darn frustrating!! I did NOT like those long hairs in the back of my neck because they kept getting caught repeatedly in my pretty necklaces!! I was always having to take the knots of hair out of my necklaces!! But, I AM going to say that it might be better for me to grow it back..partially because of my stupid habit/addiction to the hair pulling and also because it does NOT look all that great back there.. and one more reason would be because when I sweat... it's probably better to have some hair back there!!

If she has a short haircut with a shaved, buzzed, or tapered nape, then the neck (specifically the back of the neck) will usually get shaved to define the hairline.

Well theres got to be some girls that do that.
For me, I' don't, and I've never even heard of a girl that shaves their neck.

If your girl shaves her neck, check for an Adam's apple. She is no girl.

i'm not a man nor tom boy. my hair is shorter in the back and longer in the front...the hair dressers shave alittle on mine. its not a bad thing! it kinda looks stupid if you have alittle hair on the back of your neck where your hair line meets your neck

Why would we need to anyway? I shave my legs, thighs, arms, feet, toes, and sumtimes down there.
