Start showing empathy. Look beyond your own perspective.
Anger is a combination of fear, frustraion, and anxiety. Ask yourself why you are afraid, fearful, and anxious.
Not everyone thinks just like you do. Not everything is all about you.
Maybe you are most angry at yourself for giving too much power away to things that agitate you. Stop that now.
Before you claim "I can't" control muself, replace that with "I am not willing to" control myself.
You need not try to control your emotions, but you should try to control your behavior. And if you accept other peoples' perceptions, you might gain insight and not be so easily persuaded to give up your power.

i have read recently that fish oil consumption can calm a bad temper longterm and even curb more violent tendancies. give it a try.
