This is what i mean. I have a Fujifilm camera, and i need an xD picture card, must i buy a fujifilm card? or can i buy an Olympus card, for example, and use it with my camera?

All you need is an xD-type memory card. One purchased from Fuji, Olympus, or a card by SanDisk, PNY or any of the other memory manufactures will work fine. And you will likely pay less for a non-name brand memory card.

they both are suitable but Fujifilm cards are generally MUCH cheaper to buy and as good for your camera as Olympus cards (Olympus cards support Panorama mode in Olympus cameras) I had an Olympus SP 500UZ that I gave my daughter when I obtained my Nikon D80 digital SLR camera.

You can use xD cards from either Olympus or Fuji.
