It seems the older I get, the less I actually know for sure.

In your case there would seem to be a correlation because realising how little you really know is one sign of wisdom. However there are people who were young fools and now they are old fools so you can't always draw a correlation between age and wisdom.

And that is the first step towards wisdom. We have tried everything which our parents taught us, society taught us, and all signigicant others taught us. Our souls know who we are, to survive we do exactly what our parents asked us to do because of our dependency needs, but as we grow there are many things that dont give us any meaning and our rationality comes out only if we are ready to be natural and not normal (natural is being ourselves, and normal is that which is commonly occuring). We dont fear to take our own path of truth, and thats when we feel we really know nothing. We reject many things that mean nothing to us, and its ok you wil eventually give your own meaning to life. And we realize the more we know the more we dont know, that is surely a good sign of growth, the mind becomes thirsty for knowledge. Walk your path of self discovery, it is beautiful, and you become an authentic person. Good luck!

Good job, that's mean you're learning. The more you know, the more you know you don't know ;p confusing hah?? I think wisdom is not really paralel with age, I've met people older than me that is childish and I also met a kid younger than me that is very wise, i like to call it the old soul.

Well that can be wisdom. Wisdom isn't knowledge as I'm sure you know. But seeing shades of gray and not rushing to judgement IS wisdom.

Yes. For me there is, even in the last couple of years. I also had a child, and that made me much wiser. Think of my child before anything else now. Also want to better myself for his sake. So I suppose it's a combination of different things, but age usually has something to do with it.
