Islam in itself is a peaceful religion that teaches tolerance, calling Christianity and Judaism "religions of the book". Those who kill in the name of Islam are simply being lied to by governments who use Islam as a tool to inspire violence and hatred...

Most middle-easterners cannot even read th Quran for themselves and rely on priests to interpret it for them. The government puts crooked priests in power, and they use the religion to inspire hatred. They abuse Islam just like the Ku Klux Klan abuses Christianity...

When he used to send the army for spreding Islam, he advice the leaders; first explain Islam for their presidents, If they refuse ask them to allow you to explain Islam to the people and if not fight them and avoid killing those not involved in war, ladies , children and old men, avoid killing animals or cutting trees and not to destory bulding Churches or temples.

There is a lot of verses in Holly Quran indicating that Non believerse if they didn't accept Islam it is up to them, our aim is to explain it to them and they are held responsible in front of ALLAH, and another reason for this attitude Islam is a simple and clear fact so, once a person with open minded read about it he will be convienced, this is the main ideology.

You have heard wrong if you think that. Read the Holy Bible for the real answers to real peace. Jesus Christ is known as the Prince of Peace!

If you think islam is for peace, then all you have to do is read the quran. In it you will find many places where it tells you to kill. I have seen first hand where it says not to befriend a Christian, and if that person doesn't convert, then the only good thing is to cut off their head. Also many, if not all qurans have the wording changed here in America.

They don't want you to read the Holy Bible. They will tell you they believe the Bible, but when you point something out to them, then they will tell you they don't believe that part.

They say Jesus Christ was a good teacher and prophet, but just look at the thumbs down they will give me for saying that.

Look at their lifestyles, they have no lasting love, peace, joy in their lives. Look at the killings,and bombings of men, women, and children. Does that sound like peace???

Islam is NOT a religion of peace. That is just propaganda it uses to convert people. There are many incidents of violence in the history of Muhammad, but none of peace.

Christ's violence was chasing the moneychangers and dove sellers from the temple.

Muhammad actually killed people or ordered or approved of their death.

So which is the "religion of peace" in your opinion?
