don't do it unless you're ready or willing to change jobs. it is never a good idea but it happens all the time. never get your meat where you get your bread.

I did, and I married her :) Now, 14 years later, we have 3 kids, a 4th on the way, a dog, 2 cats and a super-wonderful life together.

I'll admit, we were lucky. I'm a shy person and so is she, so we didn't approach each other with the primary thought of sex, but companionship.

If you end up dating and having sex with a co-worker, it could get really nasty around the office.

My best advice to you is to not do it. I am going through this as we speak, and it's really not worth it. Think about the emotional ties; what if things don't work out? And if they do, you will have to be very strong and keep it concealed from your boss and co-workers. Some employers frown upon this. Ask yourself this question, do you value your job? I got involved with my best friend whom I met on the job, we can't be together and it's very hard seeing him on a daily basis. I have wanted to walk away so many times, but he insists on not letting go. It's very hard being in love with someone you can't be with.

no, no, no, no. do not, ever, contemplate the company ink, regardless of what the situation is. it's always a bad idea; it's one thing for people on the street who don't know you to look at you weird because something didn't work out but another thing, totally, for your co-workers too. someone always knows, and it just leads to more problems down the line, and it'll affect your work performance after a while ...

Not one that I work with on a daily basis. If you do it, you need to find someone in a different department so there is no "employee/employer" gray areas when one gets a promotion and the other doesn't or friction from relationship problems carrying into work. (No matter how great a person is, if you end up in a relationship, there will be arguments.)

Would and have.
I won't have a serious relationship with a co-worker that works where I would have to see her every day, because if a break-up happens it could get ugly.

Now.... if it's a friends with bennifits situation... cool.

Many years ago I did, I also had a sexual relationship with her. But, in today's times I would not unless you were on an equal employment basis. If you have any superior capacity above her, she can wind up crying sexual discrimination and even worse.

most companies have rules against this, also you can get yourself in alot of trouble, but if it's love on the other hand rules are made to be broken. Good luck!!!
