Yes just because women are pretty and they want to mantain their figure dosent mean the can go off and kill something that hasnt had a chance at life. If you want to keep your pretty "figure" then keep a damn muzzle on your mans trouser snake and you wont have that problem. That fetus as it is legally stated as could have done something wonderful for the world and women go and kill them off because they dont want to look fat well you can look sexy even if your pregnant. DUH

Sadly in some cases probably yes . We now live in a culture in the west that believes that a woman's lifestyle is more valid than life its self . Using it as a form of contraception is highly immoral in my opinion and saying its only a woman's issue is a crass form of sexism. Abortion should be limited to only if continuing the pregnancy could endanger the woman,s life or rape . If we brought back teaching about the value of waiting to you are married and other morals in the home and school instead of just contraception and a woman has a right to have a life terminated if its inconvenient we might just be able to call the west civilised again.

I was friends with a woman who used abortion as her sole means of birth control, while at the same time she would preach at me to use condoms, the pill, spermicide, etc. ... we are no longer friends, I don't hold with hypocrites. Her personal gratification was more important to her than anything else, and that turned my stomach.

That's one extreme though. I think that abortion is a necessary evil, with the emphasis being on necessary. Take for example young girls pregnant as a result of incest, or a rape victim - forcing them to have a baby is wrong, but forcing any woman to have an abortion against her wishes is also questionable.

When you're in your late teens/early twenties and single and just starting in college or a career, an unplanned pregnancy is very very difficult and frightening ... yes, there are some women out there who cope admirably, but not everyone is that strong at that age.

I think it depends on the individual situation.

1) Not all cases
2) Please use spell check
3) Those few that use abortion as a form of birth control are horrible examples to use for abortion. I am pro-choice, and I believe that women should have the right to decide, since it's there own bodies. Do I feel that some people take it to the next level, yes. Do I think that you should generalize all women who have had, thought of, or going to have abortions as vain people? Nope!!!

there are many reasons why a woman would choose something so difficult
yes granted there are those who get them self into stupid situations out of carelessness
but there are so many who are put in such a position that there are not many options left and abortion is the best decision all round for everyone involved
however i dont know anyone who has made this decision out of vanity

No. It's often because of many reasons - the cost of bringing up a child, the stigma, and too many pregnancies can tire out a woman. Vanity has nothing to do with it.

In a world where overpopulation is the biggest threat to Humanity, any reason not to have a kid is a valid reason and abortion is the only option that is 100% effective when all other methods fail

I personally think you are trying to cause a fight here, and on a very sensitive issue too.

There are hundreds of reasons why women have terminations - it is THEIR choice, not ours.

I sincerley hope you never find yourself faced with this issue, i really mean that. X.

Is it really necassary to bother searching for another opinion which justfies your own? It's pretty obvious you've already made up your mind on that matter.
