Melatonin. If you are having trouble getting to sleep on a regular basis, and you're not particularly suffering from stress or worry, you can buy melatonin over the counter in the U.S. Start with very small doses, about 1/2 hour before you go to bed. Increase the dose carefully until it works. Don't go over twice the recommended dosage. If that doesn't work, check with your doctor. I've had good success with a half-dose muscle relaxant.
