my mom is drunk, shes home alone with me and my brother, im 13 and my bro is 10. Right now her best friends is over(not drunk) and her bestfriends boyfriends(not drunk). This is not the first time she is buzzed alone with us. I need help. Should i call my dad(parents are seperated) and he lives 10 min away. Should i call him and have him pick us up or let her falll asleep. My whole family knows she has a problem and they are all very supprtive and say call them if u have a problem. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!

I'm 13 too. and sometimes feel the same way when I'm stuck with my 5 y/o brother and 7 y/o sister

Hey, if you are afraid or worried, you should call your dad. If it bothers you that your mom does this and she does this often, you need to let her know that if she can't stop, you and your brother need to move in to your dad's home. I don't understand what could be so bad that she has to drink so often. Being with my children is enough for me to be happy. But you did say she has a problem, suggest to her that she goes into a treatment program and you will stay with family members or your father while she is away and when she gets home, you will come back home. I wish you didn't have to go through this and I will say a little prayer for you.

You should call your dad because of something happens to you she will not be able to take care you. My mother was a drunk so I know what you are going through. She needs help and it may be in your best interest to just stay with your dad, as long as he is not a drunk as well. Your mom needs to grow up and be a parent. I had to.

I think you should call youir dad for the safety of you and brother.... you wouldn't know if she would hit you when she buzzed if that is a problem then call and get some help for her.... put her in aaa meetings where people that are acohoclics talk about their drinking problems and what it does to them

Honey, if you arent feeling comfortable there alone with your Mom under the influence then yes by all means call your dad!!!! I am "sorry" that you & your brother have to go through that ~ But if God Bought you to it He will sure bring you through it!!! Good Luck Honey!!!!

yes by all means call your father! If you and your brother have another place to go please call your dad. Later when things have calmed down maybe you can ask your family to help you talk to your mom and let her know how her drinking is affecting you and your little brother. Call your dad!

Let her sleep it off, then tomorrow talk to her about it and tell her that you are worried about her and don't want her to be drunk like that in front of you and your brother, especially when she is supposed to be taking care of you.
If she doesn't shape up, tell your dad!

Go to your dad,and be a good brother.Stay with him if you think that he can take care of you better.Do best in school and take care of your little brother.Don't hate your parent cos you're too young to understand.I'm sorry for you and i hope you will be strong.
