my mates cat we got stoned at a very early age and she has been in the same state for 4 years....is it possible for cats to remain stoned for their whole lives???

No but cats are physiologically different from humans so "human" drugs affect cats differently. For example, cats get stoned from catnip, humans don't. Chances are you will harm your cat. If you were my child, I would have you declawed and tied to a post in the garden.

Cats and dogs are not small people. Some things that don't really hurt us, can do lots of damage to cats and dogs. Maybe you and your mates should think about that before exposing any more pets to drugs. Maybe you guys should just stay away from drugs, period.

If you get a human stoned will it be in that state the rest of their lives? Of course not!!!!

I feel sorry for the cat. And you come to think of it. If you decide to do these kind of things to yourself, go right ahead. Just leave the cat out of it. Sounds to me like you might be the kind of person that ties firecrackers to animals.

i have a paranoid cat for the same kind of reason, the animal will not get any better...when we fry brain cells, the will never reconnect or form.
