I've been dating a guy for a few weeks and he called a few days ago to say that his family would be in town and he wouldn't be able to call me until they leave. Is this normal, or is he just not interested anymore?

He could just be really embarrassed of his family. I get like that, I am always really paranoid and do not like to mix family and boyfriends, or even friends, because my family is nosey and just plain weird! So if you aren't in a serious relationship than I wouldn't worry about it, and just think if he wasn't that interested in you anymore than he probably wouldn't have bothered to call and tell you why he was going to be busy the next couple days; he would have just ignored you.

it's hard to say...he could be setting up boundaries...meaning he's not ready to introduce you yet...relax...if he wants you to wait around...do something with friends or family. give him his space and see what happens. he could have just disappeared...at least he told u what was going on. in other words...i think he likes u...just don't flip out on him and start playing games....

It's the holidays, he's busy. He let you know in advance, just chill.
