No, not directly. Bacteria are of the order of single celled organisms called prokaryotes, we are multicellular organisms of the order eukaryote. We share basic similarities such as DNA, RNA, certain cell makeup but our genetic orders split into two different directions at a very early stage. The genetic relationship stopped there.

We do share a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in our bodies and the world around us if that's what you mean. We rely on bacteria to help break down food and control digestion. Without that relationship we'd die.

Of course do you think it is too little to be related to you? That bacteria is your cousin. Don't belittle life treat it with respect. All life is probably related. But not necessarily life could have evolved twice that would only double the probability of it evolving at all and we know for a fact it evolved once that is evidenced by it's reality. Then there are those certain religious freaks who believe all reality in the universe is only the dream of a great God and it's our responsibility to sooth him with chants and silent prayer. For if he should awake the entire world would just go POOF and every thing would be gone even the God for he is only dreaming himself.

I'm not an atheist, but we are certainly related. Just look at the commonality of the DNA, and you will see for yourself.

Related doesn't necessarily mean descendent. On a simpler level, by virtue of being living creatures sharing the same planet, we are also dependent on each other. Whether or not you like it, it's true.

Actually, yes. If you think about it we are bacteria in more senses than one. There are 10 times as many bacteria in a human body as there are human body cells. Most of them you would die without. (death, ewww.) and it has nothing to do with atheism, it is just a fact.

Evolution is continuously disproven. I think you're on the right track if you believe we didn't come from organisms that crawled up on the land. But to the rest of the readers, let me say a couple of things that they may not know: The main reason we teach evolution in the schools is because when Sputnik was put into space, we wanted to copy Russia's academic programs; that was the same year that the national average grades in America started to go down.
Another thing is every 5 years, scientists keep changing how old the Earth is, and think they can tell how long ago dinosaurs lived. I don't wanna give a big speech on this, I'm just sayin that evolution is a swiss cheese theory that keeps deteriorating more and more.

There are germs everywhere... even on bibles and in churches. Did you know that? Aethists don't believe this. But then again germs are real.

It's alive and all life is connected someway. In a way we're all related here.

Atheists don't necessarily believe that "humans came from bacteria". And yes, we are related to it in some ways..

Not only are you related ,They live inside of you .
Just pull out your intestines and look under a microscope .
You would DIE without them .They help in digestion and they have cells that divide ,JUST LIKE US.

yea, you move, your made of the same stuff, and there are plenty of fossils that show how you came from things like that.

and atheists aren't the only ones who believe that, plenty of Christians, Jews, Buhdists, and others believe in evolution.
