Matthew 19:3
Some Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all ?"
19:4
And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,
19:5
and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME * ONE FLESH '?
19:6
"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
19:7
They *said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY ?"
19:8
He said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way.
19:9
"And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."
19:10
The disciples said to Him, "If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry."

Malachi 2:13 "This is another thing you do : you cover the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping and with groaning, because He no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.
2:14 "Yet you say, 'For what reason ?' Because the LORD has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
2:15 "But not one has done so who has a remnant of the Spirit. And what did that one do while he was seeking a godly offspring ? Take heed then to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of your youth.
2:16 "For I hate divorce," says the LORD, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with wrong," says the LORD of hosts. "So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously."
2:17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, "How have we wearied Him?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delights in them," or, "Where is the God of justice ?"

I'll let my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ put it this way:

Matthew 5:31-32 (TMB/NAV)
31"It hath been said, `Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement.' 32But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery; and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

You cannot have divorce, unless your spouse committs adultery.

Matthew 19:7-12 (TMB/NAV)
7They said unto Him, "Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement and to put her away?" 8He said unto them,
"Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, suffered you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery; and whoso marrieth her who is put away doth commit adultery."
10His disciples said unto Him, "If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry." 11But He said unto them,
"All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. 12For there are some eunuchs who were so born from their mother's womb, and there are some eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

Mark 10:1-19 (TMB/NAV)
1And He rose from thence, and went into the region of Judea by the farther side of the Jordan. And the people resorted unto Him again; and as He was wont, He taught them again.
2And the Pharisees came to Him and asked Him, "Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife?"--testing Him. 3And He answered and said unto them,
"What did Moses command you?"
4And they said, "Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away."
5And Jesus answered and said unto them,
"Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6But from the beginning of the creation, 'God made them male and female. 7For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, 8and the two shall be one flesh.' So then they are no more two, but one flesh. 9What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
10And in the house His disciples asked Him again about the same matter. 11And He said unto them,
"Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12And if a woman shall put away her husband and be married to another, she committeth adultery."
13And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them; and His disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased and said unto them,
"Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of God. 15Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein."
16And He took them up in His arms, put His hands upon them, and blessed them.
17And when He had gone forth onto the road, there came one running, and knelt before Him and asked Him, "Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" 18And Jesus said unto him,
"Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but One, that is, God. 19Thou knowest the commandments: `Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, defraud not, honor thy father and mother.'"
