Hey!
I guess you mean that you asked a good friend who is a girl to go out on a date.
If she says "yes", great! Maybe there's something there, in which case, see below. If she says no, she's not ready or interested in anything further, and you still have her as a friend. You win either way. ;)
Presume that you are in a friendship and nothing more--and have fun! If there is some romantic energy between you, go slowly! If you two think you'd like to see each other as more than just friends, you have other dates to explore that.
Whatever you do, don't get passionate with each other...this means heavy kissing or petting, or going to bed with each other!
Doint these things with a friend is a good way to ruin a good friendship, especially when you've realized the morning after what you did! Because then, you won't be friends and you won't be lovers. You'll just become awkward acquaintances, who'll stop seeing each other, and you can't undo what you did.
The bottom line is: protect your friendship. Have fun and go slow!

thank you on your information... i assume some men somewhat propose what they say while they say it.. i'm shy & I by no ability flirt with men first, yet i've got considered men get mad at me because of the fact different men flirt with me (i did not even flirt with them) why? jealousy?? i like it while men open the door for me, they seem very style, i don't experience undesirable in any respect! i believe undesirable while some do not, they seem rude! i don't gown to impression everyone, I gown in accordance to my temper & flavor & for the celebration. i do unlike Tom Cruise nor Brad Pitt.. no thank you

just keep it cool and don't show to much. if she rejects you take it calmly and stay friends get to know her more then try again. Good Luck!

jus be patient. either she thinks it could ruin a great friendship or she thinks it would jus be weird because of the fact you guys are "friends". or she jus may be thinking seriously about it. who knows she may feel the same way \.
