Mr.G W Bush continue his baptist christian war in Iraq and Afganistan ,he may have forgot the history of lost wars ,US in Vietnam and Russians in Afganistan,In Iraq he continue to fight war for democracy ,but today it has turn to bloody war and death trap to many American GIS and each day many body bags flown to USA.Majority of Americans does not want this war for nothing or to hang Sadam as that is their bussiness but Bush thurst for his oil empior and bissiness he is not ready to leave Iraq .If he is so intrest to fight a war aginst Terrorisam in the world why dont he offer Military support to Sri Lanka to end the bloodiast civil war in Asia,,,Is it because Sri Lanka does not have oil isnt it Mr,President?Your war agianst Terrorisam is fake,

While the LTTE are proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the US, they have been in no way whatsoever a threat to the United States.
The US government (along with the EU and the UN) has consistently stressed the need for a diplomatic solution in Sri Lanka, something which the government of Sri Lanka has been unwilling to pursue. If anyone in Sri Lanka, be they Tamil or Singhalese, wants a lasting peace, they need to accept that the only only viable solution is a federal system with a large degree of autonomy in the north and east. Pursuing a hawkish agenda, burning through the country's national budget, and then expecting western powers to come and bail them out is a ludicrous policy.
