as i go off to the woods with my son i am constantly reminded that
very few young people participate in the outdoors anymore. with play station 3s and 24 hour tv and cellphones it seems not many young people are interested in getting off of the sofa anymore. after the bulk of us hunters die off in 20 years will our sport and love of the outdoors die with us?? how many of your have taken a kid hunting or fishing lately?? how about that kid next door whos single parent mom doesnt have the time or resources to let johnny go hunting or fishing??? i encourage all of you to invite a kid on your next trip, you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a member of a local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (N.W.T.F.) Each year we hold a Jakes outing (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge Ethics Sportsmanship) We provide a full days events of Archery,22 rifle,shotgun,fishing,first-aid,basic survival skills and much more. The kids soak this up like a sponge! They love it!! The interest is their,we only have to cultivate it. Through efforts such as this we will keep our hunting heritage alive for many more seasons to come. I also encourage you all to take a kid hunting or fishing. You will love it as much as they do!

I'm kind of stuck on the fence on this one. I was raised to be a hunter, but have long since put up my gun. To harm another being has began to put a bad taste in my mouth. Before you call me some kind of liberal, I must add that I do believe that punishment should fit the crime for criminals.

I mean, I do understand our history, even back to the caveman trying to supply food for his family. But should all traditions be upheld? Did you know that in some cultures handicapped and sometimes female babies were put to sleep, thrown off a cliff, because they weren't wanted? Is that a tradition we should uphold? I know what you're going to say; it's not the same.

I know all the changes in this world are not good. And the way our animals are killed for our hamburgers is probably not any better than shooting them. I'm not saying all is perfect in this world. If I had my way, we'd eat meat, but somehow no being would suffer from it. Impossible, I know. Oh well...hehe

Dinosaurs were wiped out by the consequences of a vast meteorite magnificent the earth, humanity might want to wipe itself out by nuclear destruction. The enemy wears a mask of unanimity and would no longer be who you imagine. conflict is the most rewarding corporation contained in the international, purely save on with the money to unmask them.
