i have downloaded a movie avi files about 1 gb it doesnt fit in a 4.2 dvd- how can i split the movie & make 2 dvds of the movie that can be played on my dvd player

Probably a cheap video editing program is a good way to go. I would reccomend Magix Video DeLuxe. It's about $40 and has a huge amount of features for the price. If this is just a one time thing it might not be worth the money, but if you do this kind of stuff often it wouldn't be a bad investment

ur dvd must be avi compatible or u have to change them into dvd
