No, let it fall out like it's supposed to. However, you don't want the site exposed too much - it may not heal correctly. I suspect you're okay, though. Just keep rinsing, and it'll be gone in a few days.

Sounds like the site is healing. There are two kinds of sutures. Gut and silk. Gut sutures will disolve on their own and are not annoying. Sounds to me like the dentist placed silk sutures. These sutures should be removed by a dentist. If you go by the book.
Could you remove it yourself? Yes, technically speaking, if the site is healed and there are no problems.
If the site is healed, you do not have to worry about dry socket. Dry socket is a term to discribe an open extraction site, where the clot has been dislodged and bone is exposed. (Very painful!)
If you really can't wait to see a dentist....just snip the thread and pull it out.
On the otherhand....if the site is not fully healed, call your dentist and have him/her take a look.

NO, do not pull it out... call your doctor first thing in the morning and have someone trim it... if it is really bothering you, get some hurricane gel or ambesol and put it in the area that the stitch is and along your tongue to keep from messing with it... it is better to do this than be treated for dry socket.

No there is not any situation, I in basic terms had mine bumped off final week, and in basic terms 2 of mine had to have stitches. there is going to be a niche for a mutually as because of the fact the gums improve back in to fill up the hollow. If there is not any bleeding there is not any situation. in basic terms watch it once you sweep your tooth, it hurts quite undesirable in case you catch it incorrect.

Don't pull it out or you may impair the healing. It should do no harm to work the stitch with your tongue- and it should come out of its own accord in a day or so.
If its really about to come out then you might want to pull it yourself: I nearly swallowed mine in my sleep and woke up choking.

EVEN THOUGH IT'S ANNOYING, LEAVE IT ALONE. IF IT'S A DISSOLVING SUTURE IT WILL COME OUT WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. IF IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE REMOVED (A SILK SUTURE), CALL THE DOCTOR TO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THIS.

rinse your mouth like you should and ignore it. You don't want to have to pay extra if it starts bleeding because you pulled it. It may fall out tomorrow

Doesn't hurt me a bit. I'd leave it alone.
