one thing is for sure, cats are extremely clean animals [unless its an outdoor cat]. cats ALWAYS groom themselves, and cat litter is designed to kill the bacteria to make a cat box less hazardous. a cat that wants to be with u and sleep with you is a GREAT cat, that means it appreciates what you do for it and wants affection. cats lick their paws up to 18 times a day, and the hair and dander is nothing to worry about unless you are allergic. u've got hair too! and it sheds just like a cat's does. dander i wouldnt be worried about because cats are pretty clean.
just accept the company and be greatful that u have a great pet!

It's perfectly find to sleep with the cat. If you are concerned about her paws, then just be sure to scoop the box daily and she won't come into much contact with the contents of the litterbox. You could also wipe her paws with a damp paper toweling before bedtime.

Various cats have been sleeping with me for the past 40 years or so. Cats are much cleaner than dogs, and I have never had a problem. My cats don't go outside and don't have fleas, and I love going to sleep listening to them purr. I feed them a great diet (Purina ONE) and they really don't shed much at all-- hair or dander. You have the cat for company, and she is paying you a compliment by sharing your bed with you, so stop worrying and enjoy it. Good Luck!!

Nobody ever got sick from sleeping with a healthy cat. They are quite comforting and will help you sleep better. Heck, we shed skin constantly, and hair, and we walk on the floor and put our feet between the sheets. For the hair, they make a wonderful device called a pet hair pickup - it's sticky tape on a roll that gets rid of any shedding very efficiently.

I also have a cat and I love her to death. She is my baby. I named her Daisy Mae. There is nothing wrong with her sleeping with you. My cat sleeps right by my head under my hair on my left shoulder at night. She crawls up there and goes to sleep. Cats ARE very clean animals and I have never had any problems with it. Enjoy her companionship. She loves you, let her show it!!!

You get exposed to just as many gross things as she does (think when you use the toilet and the germs that get in the air when you flush, all the public places you go and touch things, etc) so just enjoy her company :) A little dirt doesn't hurt anyone!

if you begin to not want her there she will leave, cats are very moody animals. my cat sleeps on the bed with me allllll the time and though i think about the litter box i am also happy about him spending time with me. if u don't appreciate this time she will stop comming to you and move on to someone else or not ne as affectionate as she is and we dont want that. enjoy the time with her like this it might not last forever
