I know a man who is in his 30s, he lives with his mother, and is a musician. He spends pretty much all his time with music related activities, going to shows, writing music, playing music, listening to music, etc. He is also VERY involved with computers. He is unemployed besides his music. He has a few male friends, mostly music related, but he has not had a girlfriend in years and very rarely dates, though he is interested in women. So from how this sounds may he have some sort of mild asperger's?

That does not exactly mean he has aspergers...He could just be a loner....but if he does have aspergers he can still live a full life and have a family of his own...my friends husband has aspergers and they have 2 children

This information alone wouldn't lead me to conclude that he has Aspergers. Back in the day, this would just make him "that loser who still lives with his mom."

You are assuming and making a diagnosis when you should probably not be. Do you know him? Get to know him. He might be a really nice guy.

I don't think any man living with his mother into his 30's is normal.

Maybe...Go here and check it out....it's kind of hard to determine if it Asperger's or if he's just a loner/mommas boy.

I agree with Elizabeth...he's a loser that still lives with his mother.

I do believe he has some mental health issues....just not asperger's.
