If I had to pic between the two, I'd lick it clean. Bread would be too filling after a meal. I don't really like cleaning my plate afterwards.

Defiantly don't lick the plate clean and my favourite meal ( roast chicken, mashed potatoes ,cabbage ,carrots Yorkshire pudding and thick gravy ) bread doesn't even enter my mind

I must admit, I love to lick it clean! I do wash it up as well though!!! Problem is, it's become such a habit, I've done it whilst out for a meal and then realised where I was!! But who makes the rules on etiquitte anyway?

put the plate on the floor, say sod the dishes and lie there like something from the Royale family. . . burp!
