Are they really that superficial? Is 5ft 8'' any good ladies?

Where does strong come into it? Iam very muscular and broad shoulderd, very stocky. Not very tall though!

I'm 5ft 11 myself so l go for taller men so l can wear high heels,l would feel silly walking around with a man smaller than me,yip it's superficial but that's the way it is!sorry to be so blunt.

It isn't that we go for them, but you wouldn't like to date a girl that was noticabley taller than you? It might not seem that big of a deal, but to some people, it is really big.
For example, I am not absorbed with a guy being tall, but if he is a complete shrimp, it would give me a bad first impression of him.

Everyone has different taste, some like em short, some like em tall. Personally, at 5ft 9", i prefer the taller guy. It makes me feel more "womany", and not "amazon" type. It makes me feel more safe to, and less dominant.until i get me whip n broom out that is.......cackle cackle.

Not all girls go for tall guys. My boyfriend is tall, but I don't date him for his height, I date him for his personality. I'm not going to turn him down though just because he's almost a foot taller than me.

I go for tall guys because they make me feel safer when I am with them. I have dated short guys and I feel almost like their mom. I feel I need to watch out for them. I have never dated anyone as short as 5'8" though. I am 5'6" and the shortest I have dated is 5'10". My husband is 6'3".

It's genetic, if a bloke is tall he is considered to be fit and healthy, (Alpha male) so women go for it because they are more likely to have strong, healthy kids.

i am 5ft 8 too....5ft 11 in heels..i don't like to tower over a guy, does not feel right, i have always had taller partners, or someone the same height as me, i love all men but i am not keen on anyone shorter than myself, dunno why, i just don't feel right
