he told me he wants to know me better, and asked me if we could get coffee sometime but hasn't set a time to do that yet. why is he taking so slow? what goes on in his head when he's dragging like this? is this just what guys do to show you it's not about sex?
don't get me wrong, i like it when guys take things slow. it's just why would he ask for coffee time but not set up a date?

haha let's hope he's getting distracted by important life things .... If it's bugging you I'd say to him if you still want to do the coffee thing how about we meet this friday at 5 or something that way it at least gets him to plan it a little quicker.

Maybe he hates coffee and that's a "test" for screening out all those coffee drinkers out there. Not funny? Okay, be patient, and don't sit around waiting for some guy that won't even commit to a cup of coffee, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Why don't you go have a cup of coffee and invite a cutie there to join you. At least you'll know he'd have coffee with you.

i don't know if it's what goes on in their heads. it just depends what's going on in their lives. sometimes, it could be another woman, sometimes, it could just be baggage what's going on their heads. it may have nothing to do with you, and all to do with him. don't worry what you think is happening. there's two way to handle the situation - sit and wait for him to call (not knowing whether he will or will not) or call him and say - hi, how are you doing - you know you owe me a cup of coffee and was wondering if you feel like getting a cup now i was just going down to starbucks (or whatever coffee house in your area) and see what he says. if he's busy, he should set up another time and if he's not interested, you can tell by his answer. but as the old saying goes, nothing ventured, nothing gained. just ask him and see what happens. good luck. i hope it's all well.

If he doesn't keep something as simple as a coffee date sit back and observe how things unfold...maybe he is just not interested and rather string you along than tell you the truth. Be careful to avoid hurt feelings in the future.
