I have exactly same problem as you do right now. But after seeing a dermotologist and taken the meds he gave me, my skin has been better.

I strongly recommend you to see a dermotologist. I think this is the most effective way to treat your skin condition.

Like, see him or her tomorrow or a day after.

Besides, I was told by my doc that the oily face actually increases the acnes. Also, if you body has lots of toxins, then it can be the reason, too.

But in your case, since you are 16, the acne could be coming from your body's growth.

Here is my advice.

1. Go to the dermotologist. NOW!
2. drink plenty of water, and eat lots of fruits and veggitables. These will suck the oil and fat out of your skin.
3. visit this website and get information.
www.acne.org

Remember, the most important thing is finding a good dermotologist. Before trying any over-the-counter creams or remedies, I would see a reliable dermotologist.

Good luck, and if you want, email me how you are doing.

By the way, I was told;
- get enough sleep. good for skin
- no prolonged exposure to cold wind and sunlights. bad for the skin.
- take vitamin c products.

update: To get rid of the acne, there are also other medicines you can take. It does not necessarily have to be only the creames.

I do not remember the name of the medicine my dermotologist gave me, but it was taken by orally. I was told, it was to get rid of oil off my face. And like a magic, my acne disappeared. It was a miracle to me, because I have tried many things before but they all failed. I was very frustrated, because I was upset with the pimpls all over my face. Please know that in today's world, the beauty of a man is as equaly important as the interest to the beauty of a woman.

You are a woman. The beauty is actually your life. If you lose your beauty, you maybe very sad.

I would like to tell you sincerely, go to the good dermotologist. Not just a random ones, but a good one. I understand it may cost you money, but this is the one you invest for your future. Once you cure your acne problem, you will think that you made a right choice in the future.

In today's world, the look even matters to the point of the survival. You know, it is works when getting a job.

Ask your parents nicely, and persuade them that their daughter is in important need for the health.

Good luck, and I hope you become an angel.

PLEASE DO NOT USE RETIN-A unless you can stay out of the sun. I used it years ago and my doctor didn't tell me not to wear it in the sun. I got horrible blisters that took weeks to heal. It's safe to use at night but make sure you wash your face before you go outdoors.
A much safer and more natural alternative is to get to your local health food shop and buy a small bottle of aloe vera gel or aloe vera juice. make sure it is a ceritified product (should have a stamp or label on the container to say so) so that you know you're getting a quality product.
Aloe vera has natural healing properties and it even helps heal scars!
stop using facial products that have chemicals in them, these could be irritating your skin. instead use natural products like fine sugar or oats to scrub your skin once a week. oats can be used daily as a soap substitute. if u want to use soap, use one made with natural products only...ie no perfumes or colours added.
salty water is also a great way to kill the bacteria that cause pimples.
Increase your intake of Zinc and omega-3 and omega-6 in your diet, they're very good for your skin.

Get something called "Aztec healing clay", mix the clay powder with apple cider vinegar, and apply a thick mask nightly. Wash off the mask after the clay dries and begins to crackle, you should feel a strong pulling sensation. This cleared up a problem I had going on my back and chest one year, and Ive never had a problem since.

i used so many expensive creams, and it didnt really work. i used to use proactiv, but that didnt work either. just try to stay away from using too many diff. creams because of the diff. ingredients in them, it will just make it worse.
what i find worked for me is tea tree oil, just mix a few drops in some exfoliating cream.
also i now heard that milk of magnesia is good for tightening pores, and calamine lotion for putting on pimples and blemishes. im trying to find out more about it.
dont pic at your face ! thats a very big mistake. the scars will be very hard to get rid of. good luck!

this stuff called Retin-A.. it's AMAZING... i had awful skin.. it cleared me up in 3 weeks.... your regular doctor can prescribe it for you.. its just a tube that u rub a little of this cream on ur face at night and then use moisturizer cuz it really dries out ur skin if you don't.. but it's amazing when it works
