First let me say, I'm not a party animal or anything like. That I would just like to try it once to get the experience. To see how it feels, the lower inhinbitons(spelling) and the hang over the next morning. I just want to try it to try it.
What is the best drink or drinks to try it on? And how much does it cost also?
Something that tastes good, so far the only things I've tried it beer Key stone, 1 can and something mixed with orange juice, it wasn't a screwdriver. I just want to try it to try it.
So would it be resonable to ask my roommate to get me the items i wanted to try it?

If you can control yourself then go for it. I would suggest coke and rum (Bacardi Superior) or maybe some Vodka and a juice of somesort. Happy drinking!

I suggest buying something fairly inexpensive your first time. Beer is pretty cheap and easily accessible but not everyone enjoys the taste. I recommend a bottle of vodka or rum, such as Smirnoff or Bacardi. You can buy a decently sized bottle of either for under $20, in Texas at least, and both of those two liquors are very versatile. You can mix either with anything from sodas to assorted juices, or even drink it straight as a shot. I recommend experimenting on your own with a juice or soda you already enjoy instead of trying random drink recipes people recommend to you. When making your drink the first time pour the juice/soda in a cup then add small amounts of liquor at a time to sample the strength. Alcohol does not always have to taste bitter or super strong if you prepare it to your own taste.
A good tip is to drink a bottle or two of water before you go to bed when drunk. It will seriously help in easing hangovers, and usually prevent one all-together.

I am assuming you are of legal drinking age. And if so, for someone with little drinking experience try getting a gallon of fruit punch and a 5th of seagrams 7. This will be enough for a group of people. Pour out the gallon container of fruit punch into a pitcher and add seagrams 7 until it has just enoungh seagrams where you can taste it (usually 1/2 of a 5th to one gallon of fruit punch. Drink responsibly and take note that the effects WILL creep up on you. Enjoy!

Some things are best left to trial and error. Be yourself and quit trying to rush into things. Let it come natural.
