Excellent question.
From the Gospel point of view, there are 2 answers:
1) - Perfect is good enough, and that is applied to us by faith when we take Jesus as Lord and Saviour (He earned it for us at the cross).
2) - Learning and improving is good enough. God would have us to be continually in the changing process. I have been a believer for the past 40 years, and am still changing continually. I hope I will keep on till I die. If I get to the point where I am not changing any more, then - not good enough.

Who said nobody is perfect. I am perfect I have all my body in perfect shape. God made me perfect physically I was born with no defects and 2000 years ago he made me perfect in my spirit so what are you talking about I am a perfect child of God by his grace. Until you accept the Gift of Eternal Life you will always live under the unattainable pressure of trying to be right. Eternal Life will make you perfect. It is receiving the nature character and life of God as a gift. If Bill Gates was to give me two of his many billion dollars you will be a perfect billionaire today. God has given us perfection as a gift receive it.

If you are not too good to admit you are not always good and ask forgivness that is good enough unless you make it a common practice thus nullifying the idea that you actually are sorry. Not for me to say when someone is not actually penatent. Here is the point sinning so grace may abound is very likely apractice of a person who is actually not a friend of Jesus.
then there is good enough for me but I doubt you are asking that

Right there! What you said...that is the essence of Christianity. Nobody is good enough to be with God. NOBODY. That's why Jesus did what He did. So we could be with God because of and through Him.

Jesus was the only perfect one, so once we are saved, he comes and lives in us and that makes us perfect (he completes us-LOL). If you subscribe to trying to be good enough, you never will be, because one sin will get a person into hell and we all have sinned and fallen short. We all have gotten our sin nature from Adam, its in our DNA. So we admit we are sinners, get saved and Jesus accepts us as we are and saves us anyways, the gift of salvation is a free gift.

there's no such thing as "good enough". I don't like to fail, and right now I consider myself to be a failure, when I'm satisfied with the goals I achieve, then that will be good enough for me.
So then, it depends on the person. As long as they're satisfied with themselves then that's good enough to them

Jesus said you can not be good enough. Stop trying and let Him be good for you-thats how Christians do it.

Just do the best that you can in life. If you give everything your all, then you should be fine. Good Luck to you.
