the slaying of the christian labanese cabinet minister made a huge impact in labanon; people all over lebanon burned pictures of syrian leaders, and came together in huge numbers for his funeral... hezbollah is "supposed" to be for the people of lebanon; have they lost their people's trust?

SADLY, they will gain local credibility and addulation within their constituency... they are the "PARTY OF GOD" whose stated GOAL is the removal of Israel from the map and the death of ALL non-believers. Hezbollah DOES have an incredible PR department within their own arena... the locals get paid from Iran
YES, there was a brief period of Lebanese nationality when they kicked out Syria's advisors and Army... BUT Hezbollah has gotten better advice from Iran and Syria now and are working the world-media... Israel wasn't reacting to an attack... THEY were the aggressors...
Get ready for the United Islamic Republic (Iran, Syria and newly "invited" members Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey... the old Ottoman Empire under a new name.

Passing? That seems like a politically correct way of saying "after the assassination of a Lebanese Cabinet Minister". It did, however, seem to unite the Lebanese against Syria along with its sponsoring of the Hezbollah.

Yes, but of course I watch Fox News and according to the Leftists in Yahoo. It must be all actors because there isn't anyway Fox could have the real news. I should only be watching the left slanted CBS, ABC and NBC news, you know the place that has never interviewed liaisons from Iraq, because they love Bush. Fox news watchers knew the name of the Speaker of the house before there was any Foley scandal. CBS reporters walked around New York City and asked people who the Speaker was, all but 1 individual said they had no Idea. Now that it is Pelosi do you think CBS watchers will know who she is?

Yawn... If the Canadians invaded the united states and a ragtag bunch of hillbilly conservative Christians drove them out with rockets, handguns and "terrorist" techniques, i'd help those hillbillies. Now... in this tale... united states = Lebanon Canada = Israel hillbilly conservative Christians = Hezbollah. quite straight forward to work out.

Hope so. They only say they are for the people because those that believe it aren't educated on anything else.
