All the believers are nuts...and all the nuts are believers.
"God told me..." is the scariest and most dangerous opening to a sentence.

First, let me point out that you just stereotyped "all" believers by saying we are "all" nuts. So if you're talking about close-minded, I must point the mirror in your direction as well.
There are so many different kinds of religion out there, and unfortunately the ones you hear the most from are the fanatics. Makes sense, though, doesn't it?? Fanatics want to be heard. No matter what the issue is. There are some seriously crazy ones out there, I know, but you can't really just say that "all" believers are nuts, can you??
I am a believer in God, in Jesus as His Son, and in having a close and personal relationship with Him. I am not a Republican, and I don't believe in telling anyone that they're going to hell. That is for God to sort out. It's our job to accept people, to love people, and to do our part to make the world a better place. Pure and simple. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

People who believe in superstitious nonsense can`t be expected to have any reasoned idea of anything, much less consider or compromise on their dogmatic " faith led belief ". Remember they believe that a book written millennial ago it the true word of a divinity. Written down by Men who's` aim is unknown. I ask amongst other things, why was it necessary for men to write this down " On behalf of an all knowing, all powerful God ? " If some one put forward a similar notion in this enlightened age, they would be treated. Treated compassionately, but treated non the less. It must be asked. What causes these delusional thoughts, what has led these people to this. For some one to say this, AND HAVE FOLLOWERS, would be unthinkable. Religious sensibilities are deferred to to much, to easily. It must be questioned. The argument that they do no harm is clearly false.

hi Willie The codeine and weight benefit could be no longer something... yet heavily in the experience that your conversations are actually not probably civil then you definately ought to think of approximately that first. possibly God is telling you to think of approximately what you extremely need and to lose this anger which you have.. as quickly as you form that out then look in direction of entering into touch together with her and take it from there. Sorry no interpretation of your dream, yet different than for which you do have issues to do fairly in case you extremely have self belief that she is a blessing from God wish that enables in some way (it extremely is probable what you be attentive to already!) I have always liked that middle road of not having to believe or not believe anything. That is like the old monk raking his Zen garden and he turns to you and offers you hot tea. You both sit down and just enjoy your tea. Now if that doesn't come pretty close to a decent definition of divinity, I don't know what does.

I didn't see your question or the answers. But would you say that if I believe something and I'm sure of what I believe I'm a hopeless nut? Without having seen what you are referring to, your comment looks that way to me. I realize that some believers or "believers" can be stupidly agressive, others can be insulting, or condescending. But I hope you don't have a problem of someone being sure of what he believes.

Not everyone is that way, but you`re right, its crazy. I believe in witchcraft, so you can only imagine how much of that stuff I get. Their Bible`s say that witches shouldn`t be allowed to live! Meanwhile, if someone says the smallest thing about their beliefs they start telling us that we`ll go to hell and all this other stuff.

Not surprised God lets bad things happen. He promised he would never interfere again - after Noah's flood, and true to his word no one's seen hide nor hair of him since!
