Ruth, in the story of Ruth and Naomi. My family life wasn't so good growing up,and I had to learn the hard way that if you can't get the people who are your family to love you, then let the people who already love you be your family... and this is exactly what Ruth did! She loved this older woman, and cast her lot in life with her out of love and respect. In return, Jehovah blessed her efforts and she ended up with a rich and loving husband who also came to take care of Naomi. Pretty cool story for just plain, ordinary, God-fearing women! - The Book of Ruth in the Bible

After Jesus Christ. There are many, but some pops to minds are David, and Joseph and others.

After all that happened to him, from his brothers to those who bought him as a slave from his brother, and later going up to the top. His story teaches me that there is a reason for everything, they maybe a hard lesson! he ended up helping those who forsaken him, and sold him as a piece of property, then later He was the one who saved their lives. There is a reason for everything.

Ruth. Her desire to obey God, and do the next right thing.
Paul as well, after being an Atheist, he submitted is will to God's, and became his best servant ever, he was used mightily by God under the worst circumstances, his amazing faith.

Jesus of course. But I really don't have a favorite, but if I was to center out one that has had the most influence on my life it would be Paul, through his writings.

Ayyub (Job): though the references from Holy Quran but I think they are the same as in Holy Bible.

And Job, when he cried unto his Lord, (saying): Lo! adversity afflicteth me, and Thou art Most Merciful of all who show mercy. (21:83)

And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). (38:44)

Job, because I know what it's like to lose everything. He taught me to always keep my faith in God, no matter what happens in my life, and to always trust my life to God.
